THE LIBRARIES

The Harrodian libraries are an important focus of the School. The library in the main building provides some of the Pre-Prep and Prep classes with opportunities for class library lessons, which take place during one of the timetabled English lessons. The Librarians work closely with English staff to stock a variety of reading and reference books in order to promote reading and the respect of books. All textbooks are catalogued in the library database and issued to students accordingly.

The library in the Senior building is a cultural resource providing reference books and a wide range of journals and periodicals for GCSE and A level studies. Attached to this library is a quiet study area containing a number of computers for Sixth Form students to use during their study lessons.
