Harrodian pupils of all ages enjoyed rocking out after school to The Coopers. The idea of organising a charity gig was the brainchild of Ed, Jack and Agustin (all in the 13s) and Sam (14s), the four members of the band.

They wanted to raise some more money for the winning YPI charity, Missing People, and the two runner up charities, Guide Dogs for the Blind and Riding for the Disabled. The gig, which took place in our Marquee, had a festival feel to it, with everyone wearing wristbands and all age groups dancing together in one big group.

In addition to charging for entrance, there was also a range of refreshments on sale - popcorn, soft drinks and fruit/marshmallows from a chocolate fountain!

The Coopers played three of their own songs as well as covers from rock/indie bands like Nirvana, The Clash, The Ramones, and Franz Ferdinand. Some of the younger kids were caught teaching the Seniors how to 'floss'...a tricky move to master when dancing to rock music!
