COMMUNITY SERVICE
Harrodians undertake community service at different stages within the school and charities are supported in many ways.
Prefects drawn from the Senior School support younger pupils through reading programmes and early morning assistance before formal lessons begin. Links have been forged with local associations, where Harrodians assist with the care of the elderly. The school participates in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme which also provides outlets for community and volunteer work. Pupils are encouraged to help at the local youth club after school.
The school has a unified approach to charity which is co-ordinated through Senior Management and we look to offer support at a local, national and indeed global level. Remembrance Day is observed throughout the school.
