REPORTS TO PARENTS
Students in Reception to 11s, 13s and 14s will receive two written reports each year. Students in the 12s, 15s and Sixth Form receive one written report a year.
Half Term Grade Cards are sent to parents of students in the 12s to 15s at the end of every half term. The exceptions to this rule are:
- 13s and 14s receive a full written report at the start of the Christmas holidays.
- 15s receive a full written report in January following their GCSE mock exams
- 12s, 13s and 14s receive a full written report at the end of the Summer term.
Students who have performed unsatisfactorily in many subjects are placed on an Academic Monitoring Programme. These students must carry a report card, which is completed by subject teachers and monitored by the Form Teacher, Head of Year and parents.
Lower and Upper Sixth students receive progressive monitoring reports four times a year. Along with the Student Self Evaluation Report card, these reports are sent home to parents. The Head of Sixth Form will contact parents of students who appear to be under performing and they may be invited into school to discuss progress. A full written report will be sent at the end of the Spring Term.
