ARRIVAL, REGISTRATION AND ATTENDANCE
Prep and Senior students are asked not to arrive in school before 8.00 a.m. Pre-Prep pupils are asked to wait quietly outside their classrooms until 8.30 a.m. All students should be in their form rooms by 8.30 a.m. for morning registration at 8.40 a.m.
If a Prep or Senior student arrives late to school, he or she should sign the late book either in Mrs Moore’s office (8s to 11s) or the Senior School secretary’s office (12s to Sixth Form). If a student has arrived late and not signed the late book, parents will be telephoned by a member of the administrative staff as part of our registration procedure for authorising school absence. Such a phone call could cause unnecessary anxiety to parents if they believe their child is in school. We therefore stress the importance of all students signing the late book if they arrive after morning registration.
Pre-Prep children arriving late should go to their classroom immediately.
Senior School students who are persistently late may be detained after school by their Hear of Year once appropriate notice has been given to parents.
