Ferry triumphed in this year’s House Drama with an original, homegrown production titled Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Your Teachers. Featuring a series of comic skits, the largest cast of the competition (33 pupils), and a surprise performance from Ms. Lovegrove, the show was a hit with both the audience and judges!
Bridge House secured second place with a gripping rewrite of Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn, filled with drama, suspense, and choreography by Evangeline (12s). Judges were particularly impressed by Vika’s (11s) “astonishing” performance.
Lonsdale delivered a fresh take on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, adding a twist where the protagonist transforms into an Oompa Loompa at the end — an idea conceived by Troy (11s), who played Wonka and also composed all the music for the show.
Meanwhile, Thames dazzled audiences with their creative adaptation of Pixar/Disney’s Inside Out.
