Pre-Prep Blog: Welcome

Pre prep snowmen

New year, new website, new blog

The start of a new term  brings with it the chance for me to address Pre-Prep parents and children through the exciting and vivid medium of our new Harrodian Website.  I am delighted to tell you that Pre-Prep is taking full advantage of its presentation possibilities by publishing a weekly blog which will keep you abreast of all our latest news and acitivities on a weekly basis.

For those, meanwhile, who may be anxious that this digital upgrade marks the end of the popular picture galleries previously published termly on the intranet, we have reassuring news. These images, still arranged by class but now christened 'class diaries' are currently migrating to the dedicated Pre-Prep section of this site and will be available to view shortly.

Looking at some of these pictures again during the Christmas break has allowed me to reflect on what a busy and active Autumn Term we enjoyed in the Pre-Prep with our children all working hard and with great determination. Among the highlights were a very exciting Harvest Festival, led by pupils in PP3, Maths Day when Miss Penwill and Mrs Sassa challenged us to solve some very tricky puzzles as well as  various trips and visiting workshops that all our classes enjoyed.

News stories on the website also showcase spectacular performances from the children in their Christmas show and from the Pre-Prep choir in the Carol Concert. We look forward to welcoming the children back to school in January, for another exciting  term.
