The Pre-Prep annual Science Day, which takes place during National Science Week each year, always inspires the children and develops their interest and desire to know more about the world around them.
Our day was led by a member of the Science Boffin team and the children were involved in a variety of activities to develop their understanding of different states of matter.
One of the most popular activities involved the children making their own ice-cream, which also went on to remind the children that investigating and experimenting does not always lead to the results you expect, with some of the children left with iced water rather than ice-cream! Nevertheless as you can see from the pictures everyone enjoyed the day.
