Admission to the Senior school is either by examination at Common Entrance or, for those not following the ISEB syllabus, by the School’s own examinations. THE DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS FOR 2010 ENTRY IS 22 OCTOBER 2010.
Those registered by the deadline will be invited to come into School to sit our 13+ Pre-Assessment examinations in English and Mathematics and current schools will be contacted for a reference. All candidates will be interviewed.

Following the examinations and interviews some offers will be made, conditional upon satisfactory performance at ISEB Common Entrance in June 2010. A confirmation deposit of £2000 together with a completed Acceptance Form will be required in early December from those wishing to take up a place in September 2011.
Candidates not sitting Common Entrance in June 2011, take part in the Pre-Assessment morning. Subject to satisfactory performance in English, Mathematics and at interview, they will come back in to school and sit Examinations in Science and French. Some firm offers of places in September 2011 will then be made and those accepting offers will be asked to complete an Acceptance Form and return it with a non refundable confirmation deposit of £2000.
ENTRY AT 14+
A few places may be available in Year 10 each year. Those registered by the deadline of 21 January 2011 will be invited to come into School and sit our Entrance Examinations. Candidates sit examinations in Mathematics and English during the morning and then have the opportunity to have lunch with Harrodians of their age before sitting examinations in Science and French or Spanish during the afternoon.
Interviews for those who perform well in the examinations will take place on 9 March 2011. A number of places will be offered.



On Saturday 6th June 2009, the Harrodian School celebrated its 15th anniversary with a Charity Summer Ball. The event was organised and hosted by a dedicated committee of four parents together with the Harrodian School Parent's Association. The occasion also marked ten years of dynamic and inspiring leadership by the Headmaster, James Hooke and the Principal, Peter Thomson.
