Championing Good Causes

Posted on: 09/03/2018
This week our 13s (Year 9) finalists delivered their YPI presentations to a panel of judges and representatives from each of the charities involved.

All the teams representing their chosen charities did so with passion, commitment and great confidence. They gave highly professional presentations with imagination and skill, so much so that our expert judging panel commented they would have been perfectly suitable on the TED stage.

It is always a difficult choice to decide the winner and this year the judges were adamant they wanted to reward more than one team.  We therefore have 3 teams who will be given a grant for their charity.

First Place:
  •  13T - Missing People: Sophia, Donovan, Matilda, Isabela and Lily

Runners Up:
  • 13M - Riding for the Disabled: Imogen, Anna, Emily and Tabitha
  • 13E - Guide Dogs for the Blind: Agnes, Jackson, Charlotte, Ines and Belle

All our 13s have been busy raising money for their chosen charities through cakes sales, mufti days and other activities. To complete their fundraising efforts, they will take part in a sponsored, fancy dress themed obstacle course aka The Bobstacle in a few weeks time. More photos to follow!
