Our team of 37 Prefects were given a wonderful send off, as they leave to go on their study leave. In a special Pre-Prep and Prep assembly, they were welcomed onto the stage and given special heart chocolates from Mr Hooke. Each class from Reception right through to the 12s (Year 8) benefits from a Prefect or two working with them.
A child from each of their classes joined them on stage and said a few words of thanks and wished them luck in their examinations. Many of the little ones turned round to give their Prefects big hugs! The audience then clapped their appreciation, as the Prefects came off the stage and exited down the middle aisle and out of the Theatre doors.
Mr Hooke then took the opportunity to welcome the new Head Girl, Nicole, Head Boy, Zac, and their deputies Jean-Baptiste and Youmna.
Later on during the day, Mr Woodward, Deputy Head of Senior School, took the Prefects for lunch in Barnes to thank them for their year of service.
A big thank you to them all and we wish them the best of luck in their GCSE examinations.
