Harrodian’s site in Barnes re-opens to Reception, PP1 (Year 1) and 10s (year 6) pupils on Tuesday, 2nd June, in accordance with the Government's recent directive
This welcome return of pupils to the school follows in-depth risk assessment and planning to ensure that the safe environment and arrangements created for the selected groups conform to Government guidance on social distancing within schools.
The site remains closed to other Harrodians but we remain totally committed to minimising the impact of the current pandemic on the education of our pupils while safeguarding the health and well-being of our whole school community. Harrodian is determined to continue delivering high standards of teaching, learning and pastoral support throughout the closure of our site and we are continuing to hone the on-line platforms we have put in place, providing remote education to pupils at every other age-group level.
We look forward to the return of more pupils to Harrodian’s premises as soon as this is possible. In the meantime, the Headmaster and senior staff are closely monitoring developments and we are keeping parents, pupils and staff regularly updated on the situation and our plans, both by means of email and through the Harrodian website.
