Mindfulness & Wellbeing

Harrodian has become a well-known centre for Mindfulness.  We have a dedicated mindfulness studio where training courses are held by experts for teachers, parents and other members of the local/wider communities.  Mindfulness encourages us to relax by focusing on 'being in the present moment' while calmly accepting our feelings.  Occasionally some of our pupils, who might be prone to anxiety, need help acknowledging, recognising and accepting the feelings they have. In such circumstances, Harrodian teachers, trained in Mindfulness as a technique, are able to share their expertise and support their pupils. 044_Harrodian.jpg
