Competitions and Fixtures
Across both sexes and all our major sports – football, rugby, cricket, netball, hockey, swimming, tennis and athletics – Harrodian teams are increasingly on the up. Our well-drilled, highly motivated teams are playing better and competing more strongly year by year, both in our programme of regular local fixtures and in regional and national competitions.

Individual excellence is also coming to the fore. More Harrodians are making their mark by appearing at representative levels in cricket, football, hockey and rugby or reaching national schools final days as three cross country runners have in 2020.
You can keep up with the latest sports highlights by reading our regular round-up news bulletin (see the link above) while full details of all our fixtures are available at our dedicated sports website (link below).

Trips and Tours
Extracurricular sports trips and tours are a popular and special part of Harrodian life, bringing both lasting pleasure and real value to participants. Our trip programme this year has ranged, for example, from our regular ski trip to Val D'Isere to tennis training in Barcelona and netball in Malaga, below. All our trips combine intense tuition and practice with team-building communal activities that ensure that their educational value is maximised.
Clubs and Club Links
Our extracurricular programme includes many before-school, lunchtime and after-school clubs. All our main sports have training clubs available to pupils developing their skills and to those who are already representing school teams.
Other on-site activities include karate, fencing and Sports Leadership, a special club integral to our wider Harrodian Leadership Programme, which allows GCSE and Sixth Form students to develop coaching and management skills by planning and supervising games for Pre-Prep and Prep age Harrodians.
We are also able to recommend a number of other local sporting clubs and organisations for off-site sports such as golf and squash. For more information please visit our Club Links section by following the link below.
