The mission of the Senior Library is to encourage reading for pleasure and to support reading for learning. We aim to inspire students to read beyond their studies and to explore their interests. Librarians are always available to help students whether that is in finding the perfect thriller or the inspirational book to support their UCAS application.

We have a collection of around 6,000 books and take the daily newspapers and a number of weekly periodicals. We are constantly refreshing the collection and will purchase books on student recommendation and for specific research work. We work closely with the teaching staff to ensure the collection is as relevant and up to date as possible. Digital research is not forgotten and Librarians advise students in selecting useful sites and extracting relevant information.

The Library provides a handsome, welcoming setting for students to work and to read for enjoyment.
