After three long months, Harrodians are finally back on site in Barnes where they belong and they are making the most of it
Harrodians are a friendly and talkative bunch and this week they have been busy making up for lost time. Wherever you looked during a week that has seen the school reunited in Barnes for the first time since December 2020, you could find pupils, students and teachers taking the opportunity to engage in animated chatter and deep conversations too.
The pleasure that pupils and teachers are taking in catching up, in renewing friendships and in reclaiming the essential ingredients of normal school life shines out
I want to thank our brilliant testing team for working so hard to make our reopening smooth and safe
James Hooke, Headmaster
The pleasure that pupils and teachers are taking in catching up, in renewing friendships and in reclaiming the essential ingredients of normal school life shines out through the pictures that we took of an ordinary – though unusually sunny – working day this week.

The Headmaster was delighted to be back. ‘I want to thank our brilliant testing team for working so hard to make our reopening smooth and safe,’ says Mr Hooke. ‘For me it’s the presence of our amazing pupils that makes this beautiful place feel so special, so it's great to have them back where they belong.'
