Two Harrodian 9s (Year 5) teams joined five teams from three local state primary schools for a 7-way cricket competition on Wednesday, organised by Head of Cricket, Mr Marcus Howard.
As well as giving valuable experience of competitive cricket to all the schools that took part, the round-robin helped build and strengthen links between Harrodian, Barnes Primary, St Osmund's and East Sheen Primary the tournament winners.
The event was led by pupils from the 14s (Year 10s) who worked as umpires, team managers and tournament assistants.
The day provided our 14s with a valuable taste of what they can expect next school year when they embark on Harrodian's Sports Leadership programme, Harrodian's long-running scheme for teaching key fundamentals of coaching and leadership.
