This year's Charity Fashion Show was yet another triumph! Expertly organised by our Harrodian Parents' Association and Events Committee, an approximate total of £2,500 was raised for Pancreatic Cancer Action, an organisation focused on early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

Just under a hundred pupils were involved from PP3 to the Lower Sixth, some acting as models, others as stylists, compères and members of backstage and front-of-house teams. A large number of them took to stage and had great fun strutting their stuff along the pink easigrass catwalk whilst modelling clothing and accessories loaned for the event by local independent retailers, fashion designers and Harrodian parents who work in the industry.

Lower Sixth Formers, Louis and Darcy, hosted the evening in turns whilst also modelling some on-trend fashions. Darcy was thrilled to wear two beautiful Amanda Wakeley dresses over the course of the evening - both on loan from the high-end fashion designer. The Ladykilas, a group of Harrodian mums, who are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, also took to the stage to talk about the four charities they are raising money for and to promote sales of their special cashmere Malin Darlin jumpers, that were also available to purchase on the evening.

Much to the delight of the children in the audience, a surprise finale to the show featured some familiar faces. A number of their teachers were good sports and braved the runway - Mr Fenn-Smith worked the stage in his floor length velvet jacket, Mrs Tremayne, Mrs Morgan and Mrs Drummond-Chew all modelled dresses from Ridley London, Mr Hooke and Mrs Locke performed a double act and newbies to the event, Mr O'Shea and Mr Almond, added some dandy-esque style dressed in long frock coats made by a former Harrodian student.

Harrodian parents very generously donated all the prizes for a fashion-themed raffle, and winners picked out by Stephanie Rad, a former Harrodian pupil, professional model and Clinical Psychology student.

Pop-up shops selling clothing and accessories from local fashion houses were located in the library and other classrooms around the Main Hall.
