The 8s acted out the Hindu wedding ceremony in front of an audience of parents in the last week of term
As part of their study of Hinduism in Humanities, every year the 8s act out the events that make up a real Hindu wedding, with three different sets of boys and girls dressing up and taking the parts of brides, grooms, priests and wedding guests.
Parents are invited to come in to watch the ceremony taking place and to join the ‘wedding feast’ and the party that follows. This year’s wedding was narrated by Mr Hardie and took place on the final Wednesday of term. See our gallery below
