Our 15s enjoyed an exhilarating conclusion to the school year when they convened for a special fun day on the playing fields last week. Thanks to lockdown, it's been an unsettling GCSE year for the 15s and they have shown good resilience to maintain their concentration and focus right though to the end of May. So with a range of activities and games and plenty of water and sunshine thrown in, the Fun Day provided a welcome chance to let go and have some fun.
After their exertions, the year group enjoyed a barbecue lunch of burgers and sausages, chatted with teachers about their summer plans and relished a thoroughly deserved opportunity to kick back and relax.
