Harrodians love swimming but they also love raising money for important causes. Combine the two and we have one of our great Charity Swimathons!

On Wednesday 13 October we will again get into the water, for the last time this year, and attempt to swim the distance of an Olympic Triathlon by all 55 competitors (51.3 miles) in the pool.

This is to raise vital funds for the Save the Children, Afghanistan Emergency Fund. The event will be open to all pupils (8s - Sixth Form) to come and swim as many lengths as possible, either individually or in a team, at the following times on Wednesday 13 October:

  • Before school 8.00 - 8.45am All pupils
  • Lunchtime 12.05 - 12.45pm Prep pupils
  • Lunchtime 1.05 - 1.45pm Senior pupils and Sixth Form students
  • After school 4.05 - 5.00pm All pupils
  • Evening 5.05 - 6.00pm Parents and staff only

The sessions will be overseen by members of the Sports Department and the Senior Prefect Team.

Parents are welcome to come and cheer on our swimmers either before or after school.

Print a downloadable sponsorship form by clicking here or alternatively find one on the Parent Portal under ‘Noticeboard’.

Any sponsorship and donations will be gratefully received.

Good luck to all our swimmers!
