Sporting Spirit

The sun shone on the three days in the calendar that Harrodian devotes to athletics and all our competitors grasped the opportunity to run, jump, throw and pull with both hands.

Sports Day at Harrodian is always a special day in our calendar. Pupils of all ages strive to earn points for one of their four houses,  as well as to win their individual competitions.

Our pupils really do relish the opportunity to battle for supremacy over their peers in activities ranging from long jump to tug of war. This year's competition saw Bridge sweep the board,  winning the Pre-Prep, the Prep and Senior House Cups to complete a memorable hat-trick.

The sports day battles both between individuals and houses can be fierce but the pictures here reflect the spirit of pleasure and mutual respect that underpins competition at Harrodian. 

After the races have been run, the points totted up and the places decided, the biggest winners on Harrodian Sports Day are always fun and friendship.
