Our 10s pupils (Year 6) attended a two-hour medieval workshop in the School Theatre. They took part in a competition between rival families and were able to dress up in a variety of costumes, and handle artefacts.
Carpentry, medicine, potion-making, warfare and a wedding were amongst the themes they explored.
The students really enjoyed the activities and learnt a lot about life in the Middle Ages.
